This is a unique hand-carved piece made from olive wood by the artisans of the Christmas House factory in the Holy City Bethlehem. We are the 3rd generation Christian family who lives in Bethlehem, the holy land, and we have been the manufacturer of olive wood carvings from the Holy Land since 1925.
This Crusaders & Saladin wooden chess set is a unique gift that you can never find the same piece ever because it is fully hand-made. The wooden board of the Crusaders & Saladin chess set consists of multiple wooden parts. Dark wood grain and light wood grain are selected to build the board together. In addition, the Crusaders & Saladin chess set edges are made with natural wood bark, giving it a rustic look.
This wooden chess set includes 32 hand-made wooden figurines. Each figure was carefully selected with its unique natural wood color (no paint was used ). The light wood color represents Crusaders, and the dark ones represent Saladin.
For any customization or engravings as seen in the pictures, please let us know in the note. For example, we can engrave the front or back of the board.
